Clough has announced that its CEO and Managing Director, Kevin Gallagher, has resigned, in order to take the CEO position at Santos. Clough provides engineering and project services to energy, minerals, water, power, and infrastructure companies globally.
Santos is the operator of the Gladstone LNG (GLNG) project – an Australian venture that produces natural gas and converts it to LNG for sale to global markets. Recently, its first LNG cargo was shipped to South Korea.
In a statement, Clough claimed: “During his time at Clough, Kevin has transformed the business, delivering record financial and operational performance. Proprietary safety and project management systems and programmes developed during Kevin’s tenure have ensured Clough delivers excellence in project execution.”
Clough has claimed that it will begin searching for a new CEO and Managing Director immediately, and will consider candidates from both inside and outside of the company.
