Elliott Group has released a statement claiming that it has entered into an agreement with the Linde Group’s Engineering Division regarding cooperation in the small to mid scale LNG business. Both parties have developed a standardised and modularised concept for the main refrigerant cycle compression section of Linde’s StarLNG™plants, which range from 0.2 million tpy to 1.3 million tpy. The agreement will allow Linde Engineering to increase the speed to market.
The Executive Vice President of Product Line LNG and Natural Gas Processing at the Linde Group’s Engineering Division, Marcus Lang, said: “With this initiative we have further enhanced the degree of standardisation of our StarLNG family which allows us to combine best-in-class quality with competitive pricing and attractive delivery times.”
The Vice President of Engineered Products at Elliott Group, John Rann, said: “We are delighted to support The Linde Group in their endeavours to further increase competitiveness with Elliott’s line of highly efficient, technically advanced centrifugal compressors, and our wealth of experience in refrigeration applications.”
