McDermott comments on Freeport LNG announcement

Following the recent announcement that Freeport LNG has shipped its first LNG commissioning cargo from Train 1 at its facility on Quintana Island, Freeport, Texas, McDermott International Inc. has a released a statement.

Mark Coscio, McDermott’s Senior Vice President for North, Central and South America, said: “We continue to make great strides on the Freeport LNG project with the shipping of the first cargo from Train 1, which is a major milestone for the joint venture project team.

“Congratulations to everyone for their hard work and dedication in reaching this project achievement and for their strong focus on safety and quality throughout the project. For 2019 alone, the team worked more than 11 million work hours with no lost time incidents, an outstanding accomplishment.”

Stolt-Nielsen and NYK Line form strategic joint venture in Avenir LNG

Stolt-Nielsen Ltd and NYK Line have announced that Stolt-Nielsen has entered into a share purchase agreement to sell 50% of Avenir LNG Ltd to NYK Line.
