Inpex lining up gas buyers for Indonesian LNG project

Nico Muhyiddin, vice-president of corporate services of Inpex Masela Ltd, said: “Currently, when we’re making a list of buyers, of course we also ask them how much they need, their purchasing power etc.”
According to Reuters, Masela is expecting to secure gas buyers from both Indonesia and abroad before 2022, when it it scheduled to make a final investment decision. Muhyiddin added that the buyers are not limited solely to Japanese companies.
