Monadelphous – an Australian engineering company – has announced that it has been awarded several new contracts and contract extensions related to the energy market, with a total value of approximately AUS$150 million.
This includes a 12-month extension to the current Karratha Gas Plant contract with Woodside, in which Monadelphous will continue to provide maintenance and shutdown services for the plant.
In addition to this, another 12-month extension to the current maintenance services contract for Woodside on the Pluto LNG Project has been agreed. The will include work on both associated onshore and offshore facilities Karratha.
Monadelphous has also signed a new three-year contract with BP at Kwinana, in which Mondelphous will cover the provision of both capital works and maintenance events for BP’s Kwinana Refinery.
Monadelphous claims that these recent extensions have brought the total value of the new contracts, and other work agreed to since July 2015, to approximately AUS$600 million.
