Train 3 of Sabine Pass liquefaction project achieves substantial completion

Cheniere Energy Partners L.P. has announced that it has achieved substantial completion of Train 3 of the Sabine Pass liquefaction project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, US.

Commissioning has been completed, and Cheniere Partners’ engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner Bechtel Oil, Gas and Chemicals Inc. is turning over care, custody and control of Train 3 to Cheniere Partners.

The first commercial delivery from the Train is expected to occur in June 2017, under a 20-year sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Korea Gas Corp.
