The US Department of Energy (DOE) has given authorisation to Floridian Natural Gas Storage Co. LLC to export LNG at the proposed plant in Martin County, Florida, US.
Specifically, the LNG would be put into ISO containers at the plant, and would then be transported through the use of trucks to various ports for global export.
The DOE authorised Floridian to export the equivalent of 14.6 Bcf/yr of natural gas over a period of 20 years.
