Calcasieu Pass expansion plans announced
Venture Global LNG has secured an additional 432 acres in connection with its proposed LNG project in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
The expansion will expand the available land for the project, which now totals 938 acres.
Commenting on the news, William M. Wicker, CEO of Venture Global LNG, said: “By nearly doubling the size of its land footprint, the Calcasieu Pass terminal and ancillary facilities have more flexibility in terms of access, buffer zone and construction laydown. This expansion also accesses excellent ship berthing, parking and office facilities, as well as land for other activities that will support project development.”
