Air Products wins Coral South FLNG contract

According to Reuters, Air Products has won a contract for the Coral South floating LNG (FLNG) project.

Reportedly, the company reached an agreement with TP JGC Coral France to supply its proprietary cryogenic coil-wound heat exchanger technology.

In addition to this, Reuters claims the agreement with TP JGC covers the liquefaction process licence for the FLNG facility, which will be located offshore Mozambique.

DNV’s latest white paper, Methane in Shipping: LNG fuelled ships and the switch to low GHG methane, finds that low-greenhouse gas methane (i.e. bio-methane and e-methane) can benefit from this existing infrastructure.
