PACC Offshore Services Holdings Ltd (POSH) has announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide accommodation support through its POSH Arcadia vessel for Shell’s floating LNG (FLNG) project – Prelude. The contract was awarded by Technip Oceania Pty through the subsidiary company, POSH Semco Pte Ltd.
The semi-submersible accommodation vessel (SSAV) will provide accommodation support for the hook-up and commissioning phase of the project. POSH Arcadia is the company’s second state-of-the-art SSAV and is certified ‘clean comfort class’ by DNV. This is POSH’s second contract for Prelude, following a towage and positioning services contract in January 2016 through the POSH Terasea joint venture (JV).
The CEO of POSH, Captain Gerald Seow, said: “The contract award for the POSH Arcadia marks our second contract award for Shell’s Prelude FLNG project. We will continue our focus on ensuring that POSH Arcadia delivers its services efficiently, safely and without incident.”
