Current LNG projects

TotalEnergies has announced the launch of the first phase of front-end engineering and design studies for the project.

The project is located at the CPC Taichung Phase III LNG import terminal in Taichung, Taiwan.

The project will see Twenty20 Energy replace aging diesel-based generation with high LNG and heat recovery-based generation in 12 locations around the country.

As part of the agreement, the companies will develop the Lakach deepwater natural gas field which NFE will use to produce LNG for global export.

Wood will deliver owner’s engineering services for the Cameron LNG expansion project in Louisiana, US.

The companies have signed a Sales and Purchase Agreements for the purchase of 2 million tpy of LNG for 20 years.

The companies have signed an agreement to further develop Qatar’s North Field East project, which will expand Qatar’s annual LNG capacity from 77 million t to 110 million t by 2026.

GlobalData predicts that China will lead the global LNG regasification capacity additions between 2022 and 2026, contributing 26% of the total LNG liquefaction capacity additions.

After extensive repairs and improvement work, Hammerfest LNG is back in production after the fire in September 2020.

Under the SPA, Energy Transfer LNG will supply 0.7 million tpy of LNG to China Gas on a FOB basis.
