LR chosen for LNG Canada export terminal project in Kitimat

Lloyd’s Register has announced that it has signed a 55-month contract to support LNG Canada with the safe construction and delivery of a new LNG liquefaction and export terminal in Kitimat, British Columbia.

BC Ferries awards contract for LNG-fuelled vessel

BC Ferries has awarded Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. of Gdansk, Poland, a contract to construct an additional LNG-fuelled vessel scheduled to go into service in the Southern Gulf Islands in 2022.

A majority of British Columbians say they support the development of an LNG industry in B.C., according to polling by the Mustel Group (commissioned by the BC LNG Alliance).
