HAM Chile, a subsidiary of HAM Group, has been chosen by Lipigas for the design, construction, and commissioning of Chile's first LNG fuel station.

The station will be located at the facilities of Transportes San Gabriel, Linares, Maule Region, very close to the Ruta Cinco Sur (Pan-American Highway in Chile), which is part of the country's main land communication artery.

The project has been made possible by Lipigas’ commitment to vehicular LNG, with the aim of contributing to sustainable development through the design of efficient energy solutions that help its customers overcome the challenge of reducing their environmental impact. Indeed, the use of LNG as fuel reduces CO2 emissions, nitrogen oxides, and fine particle emissions.

The new service station will facilitate the continuous supply of LNG to a fleet of 30 trucks from Cervecera AB InBev Chile, which will be incorporated into the transport fleet of Transportes San Gabriel. These vehicles will benefit from fuel savings of over 20% compared to other less environmentally friendly fuels, while also emitting fewer harmful emissions.

Lipigas is a notable player in the Latin American energy market in, with a presence in Chile, Colombia and Peru, which allows it to deliver comprehensive energy solutions to its customers through its different products, which on their own or with combined solutions satisfy the needs energy of its customers.

HAM Chile Spa has been operating for several years in South America, with its own facilities and staff in the Santiago metropolitan region, which allows HAM Group to continue its expansion and have greater proximity with its customers, making available a wide variety of products and services: design, construction, maintenance, and supply of CNG-LNG service stations; regasification plants (PSR); bunkering; manufacture of cryogenic tanks for LNG and air gases; etc.
