ITT invests in NGV testing facilities
ITT Corporation is expanding its manufacturing operations in Westminster, South Carolina, by investing approximately US$1 million to build a new test facility.
The investment is part of a total of US$2.5 million that the company expects to invest in the facility over the next five years.
LNG regulators
The addition provides a new specialised testing facility for natural gas vehicle (NGV) components, which are part of the company's Conoflow products. These NGV components consist of CNG pressure regulators and LNG regulators for heavy vehicles.

Commenting on the investment, Jeff Weisbeck, Commerical Director for ITT’s Control Technologies business, said: "This expansion will allow us to deliver our latest advancements in natural gas valve technologies into this exciting and expanding global market, giving us the ability to better meet the needs of our customers with the highest quality products and services they have come to know from ITT. We look forward to continuing to grow our business and product capacity at the Westminster facility."
Plant Manager Rob Hartman added: "We have been a member of the Oconee County community for more than 25 years and are pleased to be able to grow our presence here. This facility expansion will give us enhanced capabilities to test natural gas vehicle components, which are an integral part of the strategic plan for the Control Technologies business."
