UPS and Omya nominated for LNG award

UGI Energy Services, a UGI Corporation subsidiary, has announced that two of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) customers have been nominated for the Black Diamond Award at the World LNG Conference in Houston.

Atlanta-based UPS Fuel Services is being recognised for the rollout of its LNG-fuelled highway fleet throughout the US. Vermont-based Omya Inc. is being recognised for adoption of an LNG-based processing system associated with its quarry operation in Florence, Vermont. Both companies have been identified as having advanced LNG-related technologies and supporting the development and expansion of these emerging LNG markets.
