Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, recently held a working meeting with Han Fennema, Chairman of the Executive Board of Gasunie, at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016.
The parties discussed key areas of collaboration between the companies, including the Framework Agreement on cooperation in the small scale LNG sector.
A statement from Gazprom said that particular attention was paid to the progress of the pilot project for the construction of a small scale loading terminal in the port of Rostock, Germany. The terminal would receive, store, and ship LNG that would be used as a bunker and vehicle fuel, as well as an energy resource for autonomous gasification purposes.
The parties also discussed the development of gas transmission routes from Russia to Europe.
