T. Boone Pickens to sell shares in Clean Energy
T. Boone Pickens – co-founder of Clean Energy – has decided to sell a small percentage of his overall shares in Clean Energy. Andrew J. Littlefair, the company’s President and CEO, stated: “He emphasised that he still remains as bullish as ever on the company’s future and the benefits of natural gas as a transportation fuel, validated by the growing number of vehicle fleets fuelling at Clean Energy stations. Boone will continue to be our largest shareholder, an active member of the company’s board of directors and a valuable energy expert for us to tap into”.
In August 2015, Clean Energy announced that it will build new compressed natural gas (CNG) stations for Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) in New York, Arlington Transit (ART) in Virginia, and North Kansas City (MO) School District.
