GFS Corp to convert more Arch Coal trucks to LNG
As a part of an ongoing evaluation program, GFS Corp will be converting almost a quarter of Arch Coal's Komatsu 930E haul truck fleet to an LNG operation using the EVO-MT 9300 System.
The 930E trucks will join two existing 830E trucks that have been operating on LNG since early 2014.
GFS Corp President, Jason Green, commented: "As the pilot customer for our EVO-MT System for the Komatsu 830E, we are pleased that Arch Coal is expanding their evaluation program to include their 930E fleet.
"Arch Coal is leading the way in the adoption of LNG technologies for electric-drive haul trucks and we are excited to be one of their technical partners." The company expects to complete the conversion of the 930E trucks by the fourth quarter of this year.
