Liquiline terminates Canadian LNG joint venture
After two years of operations, Liquiline Group is terminating its LNG joint venture in Canada. Liquiline will continue to support customers in North America through a 100%-controlled venture.
LNG solutions
In July 2012 the Liquiline Group established the joint-venture company Liquiline LNG Solutions Corp in Vancouver, Canada. The company was established to provide Liquiline’s LNG solutions and LNG distribution expertise in the North American market. The joint venture was also granted a license to promote and sell Liquiline’s proprietary technologies and products in Canada and the US.
During the two years of operations the joint venture has taken on LNG projects, mainly in Canada, and sold solutions incorporating Liquiline’s proprietary technologies and products. Despite these achievements the parties have decided to end the cooperation and Liquiline AS has terminated the license agreement, effective as of July 2014.
