LNG Industry,

Elengy has released a statement claiming that the Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal in France has been automatically shut down following a defect on a controller.

The internal emergency plan was consequently triggered, in order to stop works in the process area and gather all workers on site. Elengy claims that the local authorities have been informed of the incident, and that normal send-out should resume imminently.

The Montoir-de-Bretagne facility commenced operations in 1980 and has a capacity of 10 billion m3/yr, as well as a storage capacity of 360 000 m3.
