Gasum and Pöyry have announced that they have signed a five year framework agreement for engineering and project implementation services to develop, plan and implement Gasum's natural gas projects in Finland.
The framework agreement covers project management, HSE, procurement, engineering, document management and other related services. Pöyry is one of three engineering companies that were awarded the frame agreement after public procurement procedure.
Gasum’s subsidiary, Skangas, is an LNG specialist that continues to strengthen the position of LNG and the broader utilisation of new solutions in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Skangas has LNG terminals in Øra, Norway, and Lysekil, Sweden. Finland's first LNG import terminal will be completed in Pori in 2016.
"We are proud of the trust that Gasum shows in Pöyry via this framework agreement. The agreement is a platform for our co-operation for the years to come, proving our competence and excellent service level in engineering and project services. Through successfully executed projects we continue our strong relationship with Gasum," said Tuukka Sormunen, Pöyry's Head of Chemicals & Biorefining, Northern Europe.
