BOC, a member of The Linde Group, has announced that it is launching a new mobile LNG refuelling unit at the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show 2015, in Birmingham, UK.

The new mobile refueller can be used to supply LNG to up to 30 vehicles. It is well-suited for medium sized fleets that require a low complexity, rapidly deployed dispensing solution. The BOC zero loss system includes a liquid nitrogen temperature conditioning system with vapour recovery to maximise efficiency and recover warm vent gases from the vehicle.

The new LNG mobile refueller eliminates LNG methane losses, saving money and emissions and delivering a quicker, consistent refuelling time.

Performance features of the BOC LNG mobile refueller include accurate data management, with mass flow metering. The refueller works with customer's existing fuel management system to monitor fleet usage and trip data. The unit is also linked to BOC's 24 hour GOLD delivery planning system, ensuring reliable delivery.

The unit showcases the brand's new visual identity for the business, which was designed specifically with the BOC LNG trailers in mind.

Nathan Palmer, BOC Director of Bulk and Packaged Gas, said: "We are delighted to introduce our new and innovative LNG mobile refueller vehicle to the UK and Ireland market. This leading technology is part of BOC's portfolio of refuelling options and is spearheading our commitment, as a responsible supplier, to developing cost-effective, green fuel solutions for fleet vehicle operators, including smaller operators."
