ICIS launches LNG market product
ICIS has launched LNG Edge, a new product for the global LNG market.
This latest addition to the ICIS product portfolio provides real-time intelligence on LNG cargoes at sea, trade flow volumes, buying and selling opportunities, chartering availability and rates, as well as LNG spot prices and news updates.
LNG Edge comprises ICIS's data fusion technology, dual AIS data feeds from constellation satellite providers (Orbcomm and exactEarth) and an LNG commercial intelligence gathering team, which verifies accuracy of the published data.
Functionalities range from instant online mapping and search, to Excel data download options, supporting LNG traders, analysts, shipping managers and directors.
Commenting on the new product, Louise Boddy, Business Director of ICIS LNG Edge, said: "The ability to realise commercial opportunities will depend not just on having the best market intelligence, but on being able to quickly make sense of shifts in trading patterns and prices through a single interface.”
