The LNG carriers will be built at DSME's shipyard in Geoje, South Korea, on behalf of Maran Gas Maritime. They will be equipped with GTT's NO96 cryogenic membrane containment system.
Delivery of the LNG carriers is scheduled for 2019.
Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GTT, said: “This order reinforces our long-standing relationship with DSME who has already received 147 ship orders with the NO96 technology […] With a fleet of 20 vessels, entirely equipped with membrane solutions, Maran Gas Maritime is a major player of the maritime industry.
