NOVATEK issues update on Arc7 LNG tankers

PAO NOVATEK has announced that TC LNG Shipping L.L.C. is no longer considered a ‘Blocked Person’ under the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) rules.

TC LNG is a joint venture (JV) that owns the Arc7 ice-class tankers used for the Yamal LNG project.

According to the statement, the JV consists of Teekay LNG and China LNG Shipping (Holdings) Ltd.

Avenir LNG signs time charter for LNG bunker vessel

Avenir LNG Ltd has signed a time charter party with SeaRiver Maritime, LLC for Avenir’s second newbuild 20 000 m3 LNG bunker vessel.
