Dynagas LNG Partners acquires LNG carrier

Dynagas LNG Partners has announced that it has purchased 100% of the ownership interests in the entity that both owns and operates the Lena River LNG carrier, as well as the time charter contract with Gazprom Global LNG Ltd. The vessel has a capacity of 155 000 m3 and was built in 2013.
The deal was agreed with Dynagas Holding Ltd, and is valued at US$240 million. It is subject to customary closing conditions, but is expected to be finalised on 31 December 2015.
