ClassNK Singapore marks 50 years with anniversary party

ClassNK hosted an anniversary party to commemorate 50 years of its Singapore Office on 18 July 2017. ClassNK’s Singapore Office was established in 1967 to strengthen its service network in Southeast Asia and cover surveys at ports around the region as well as to support its clients.
Held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the evening commenced with an opening address by Chairman and President of ClassNK, Koichi Fujiwara. Among the distinguished guests in attendance, the Ambassador of Japan to Singapore, His Excellency Kenji Shinoda gave an honorary address followed by a congratulatory address by Assistant Chief Executive of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, Ms. Tan Beng Tee.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman and President Koichi Fujiwara said: “I am truly honored that ClassNK Singapore has been able to share this history of growth with Singapore and Singaporeans for these past 50 years. At the same time, I sincerely appreciate the support and cooperation of the maritime community here.”
ClassNK’s Singapore Office still continues to serve the maritime industry in Southeast Asia in order to meet its clients’ requests and provide timely and high quality services.
