Norway’s Awilco LNG has released a statement claiming that it has successfully completed the sale and delivery of the 125 000 m3 WilEnergy and WilGas LNG carriers. WilEnergy was built in 1983, whilst WilGas was built in 1984.
Awilco has not disclosed the identity of the buyer, as per the terms of the agreement. The sale of both vessels will contribute with an estimated loss of US$6.6 million in Awilco’s financial results for 2016.
The sale of the two vessels was originally announced in early June 2016.
