GasLog Partners announces closing of LNG carrier acquisition

GasLog Partners LP has announced the closing of its acquisition from GasLog Ltd 100% of the shares in the entity that owns and charters the Methane Becki Anne LNG carrier.

The 170 000 m³ tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier was constructed in 2010, and is currently on a multi-year time charter with a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc through March 2024.

According to the statement, Shell has a unilateral option to extend the term of the time charter for a period of either three or five years.

JERA signs agreement with Dunkerque LNG

JERA Co., Inc. has signed a throughput agreement with Dunkerque LNG SAS to secure regasification capacity at the Dunkerque LNG terminal in Dunkirk, France.
