Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has received notification of two LNG carriers, which will be built by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).

GasLog has ordered two large-scale LNG carriers from HHI specifying the use of GTT technology. GTT received notification from HHI for these new orders in June 2014.

The two large LNG carriers are expected to be delivered in 2017 and will be built with the Mark III Flex membrane technology, which allows for an optimised daily boil-off rate of cargo LNG.

Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT said: “We are delighted that our long-time partners have selected to use the GTT technology for their newest [LNG carriers]”.
