Sembcorp scoops Chinese business award
Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) has been awarded the ‘Top 10 Successful ASEAN Companies in China’ award, by the China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC).
The award recognises exemplary ASEAN companies that have achieved success in China and are well regarded by their partners. With presence spanning 14 provincial regions in China, Sembcorp has contributed to China’s growth with high-efficiency power generation and renewable energy facilities, industrial water solutions, urban developments and integrated marine solutions.

The award ceremony, which took place at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang Hotel in Beijing, was attended by 300 dignitaries including ambassadors of the 10 ASEAN countries, Chinese government officials, and members of the ASEAN business community in China. Receiving the award on behalf of Sembcorp was Mr Alan Yau, CEO of Sembcorp (China).
