LNG Industry,
According to the latest Reuters report, Asian LNG spot prices have remained steady at a seven-week low.
This stagnation was reportedly caused by lower prices attracting some demand from India, whilst on the whole the wider market remained well stocked.
Asian LNG spot prices for delivery in July are currently estimated to at US$4.50 per million Btu.
Industry sources suggest that India is likely to increase its demand for LNG post-monsoon, as it increases its terminal utilisation.
