According to the latest Reuters report, Japan’s Inpex Corp has announced that it has completed commissioning for production start-up at the offshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia, and added gas output would begin at an unspecified later date.
The move marks a slight delay from the company’s announcement in late March that the commissioning of CPF and production of gas would start by the end of May.
But a company spokesman said there is no major change in the project launch.
The first shipments of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), condensate and LNG would begin by the end of Septembert.
