MHB announces departure of CEO

Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB) has announced that its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), YBhg Dato' Haji Abu Fitri Abdul Jalil, will relinquish his position at the company on 30 April 2016, and will return to Petronas.
The current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MHB, Cik Wan Mashitah Wan Abdullah Sani, will step in as Acting Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 May 2016, as the company initiates a search for a new MD/CEO.
Cik Wan Mashitah joined MISC Berhad in 2002 and had served in various capacities before she was appointed as the CFO of MHB on 30 June 2010.
The Board of MHB thanked YBhg Dato' Haji Abu Fitri for his service and contributions to the MHB Group and extended their best wishes for his future endeavours.
