According to Reuters, Refinitiv Eikon data shows that a Russian vessel has been loaded with an LNG cargo at the Sabine Pass terminal in the US, and is en route to the Huelva terminal in Spain.

The Marshal Vasilevskiy is a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU), but can also serve as an LNG vessel. Reuters reports that it is scheduled to arrive at Huelva on 9 December 2019.

According to Reuters, Gunvor has the leased the vessel from Gazprom. Gazprom does not supply natural gas to Spain via pipeline, though it had already shipped LNG to the country. It has said that the LNG supplies from the US to Europe do not rival its own deliveries as they are more competitive by pricing.
