Gazprom and Serbian Prime Minister sign MoU for greater gas cooperation

Alexey Miller, the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Aleksandar Vucic, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, have met at the Gazprom headquarters to discuss a range of energy sector issues. In particular, the parties focused on the supply of Russian natural gas to Serbia, and its subsequent storage in UGS facilities.
Dusan Bajatovic – the Director General of the state-owned company, Srbijagas – signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Miller. This MoU notes the intent from both parties to promote cooperation in gas storage, the NGV sector and in small scale LNG shipment, amongst other things, within sci-tech projects. In accordance with the MoU, both parties will also discuss the potential expansion of the Banatski Dvor UGS.
