APPEA board re-elects Chairman and Vice-Chairman

The Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association (APPEA) has announced that Bruce Lake and Richard Owen have been re-elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, following the association’s annual general meeting on 24 November 2016 in Perth, Australia.

Lake is the Managing Director of Vermilion Oil and Gas Australia Pty Ltd, and has been a long-term director on the APPEA board. Owen, meanwhile, is Chairman, ExxonMobil Affiliates in Australia.

Both men were first elected to their respective positions following APPEA’s annual general meeting in 2014. Following this most recent meeting, the association’s directors are as follows:

Seaspan Energy has completed its first LNG bunkering operation to a pure car and truck carrier at the Port of Long Beach.
