Ebara appoints new CEO
Ebara International Corp. (EIC), the American subsidiary of Ebara Corporation (EC) of Japan, has announced the appointment of Mr. Tadashi Urata as its new CEO. Mr. Urata has been with EC for 32 years and brings a wealth of pump industry experience to EC’s North American pump and fluid machinery business.
Throughout his years with Ebara, Mr. Urata has carried a variety of positions including Vice President of Engineering at Ebara Fluid Handling (SC, USA), General Manager of the Components Products Department (Fujisawa Plant, Japan) and most recently, President of Ebara Technologies (CA, USA).
Workforce crucial to success
“I have received tremendous support in my return to EIC” said Mr. Urata. “Ebara Corporation has always believed that having a talented, motivated work force is the most important key to building a successful business and EIC is no exception. EIC has a great deal of opportunity to grow and expand in its various segments and the future looks very bright. I am looking forward to working with the EIC family and contributing to its continued success.”
EIC represents the North American portion of the global pump and fluid machinery manufacturer and it encompasses four divisions: Cryodynamics, Fluid Handling, Hood EIC LLC., and North American Custom Pump.
