BigRoll Shipping has announced that it has received delivery of its third MC-Class module carrier, BigRoll Baffin.

The vessel, which like the first two MC-Class vessels is designed for the marine transportation of major modules and equipment for large energy projects on and offshore, was delivered by Cosco Dalian Shipyard Co. Ltd.

The first two MC-Class module carriers – BigRoll Barentsz and BigRoll Bering – were delivered earlier in 2016 for module transportation services for the Yamal LNG project in Russia.

The Finnish Swedish 1A Ice Class MC-Class vessels are capable of delivering modules to some of the most remote and inaccessible areas of the world.
