Andrew Stafford, Technical Director at Trelleborg’s marine systems operation will also present a technical paper discussing interface standards for Floating Storage Regasification Units (FSRUs), Floating Storage Units (FSUs) and the emerging small-scale sector.

On stand, representatives from Trelleborg and Teekay will discuss the new HALO Fender offering for the Ship to Ship (STS) transfer market and the wider marine industry. The offering will combine Trelleborg’s manufacturing capability and the operations expertise of Teekay, one of the world’s largest marine energy, transportation, storage and production companies. With the HALO fender offering, a wide range of fender sizes will be held in strategic locations around the world, allowing fast and convenient delivery. The fenders, all fully compliant with ISO 17357-1:2014, will be available to buy or rent and backed up by exceptional technical and service support.

Richard Hepworth, President of Trelleborg’s marine systems operation, commented: “STS operations demand exceptional levels of safety, reliability and responsiveness. With the HALO fender offering, we can ensure fast global delivery, and incorporating 28 rental and service bases, provide fast, local maintenance and repair.

“Gastech is the ideal platform to launch HALO. The event allows us to get immediate feedback from industry stakeholders, while discussing broader challenges and issues within the market, so we can ensure our product development continues to meet customer needs as they evolve.”

As part of Gastech’s main conference program, Andrew Stafford, Technical Director for Trelleborg’s marine systems operation in the UK will discuss the management of FSRU operations, ship to shore interfaces for gas output, and interfaces between LNG Carrier (LNGC) and FSRU for liquid transfer.

At the conference, Dave Pendleton, Managing Director for Trelleborg’s marine systems operations in the UK, will also take to the stage to provide an overview of the Ship-Shore Link (SSL) technology that has set the industry standard in large-scale LNG transfer for nearly 20 years, discussing its role in ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective LNG bunkering.
