LNG-powered trailing suction hopper dredger launched

Royal IHC recently announced that it has held a launch ceremony for DEME’s 3500 m³ LNG-powered trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD), MINERVA.

The ceremony was held at its shipyard in Kinderdijk, the Netherlands. The official name giving and christening ceremony will take place in Spring 2017 in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
