Sakhalin Energy hits LNG cargo milestone

Sakhalin Energy has announced that it has offloaded its 1000th LNG cargo, which is to be delivered to Japan and split between Tokyo Electric and Tokyo Gas. The volume of the cargo is 145 000 m3 of LNG and was offloaded from Prigorodnoye Port on 25 August.
The Asia-Pacific region is the major consumer of Sakhalin LNG. From 2009, approximately 72% of Sakhalin LNG was delivered to Japan and 22% to South Korea. Among other buyers were China, Taiwan, India, Kuwait and Thailand.
