LNG Industry,
According to Reuters, PTT Plc – the Thai energy firm – has signed an agreement with Korea Gas Corp. (Kogas) to cooperate in their LNG business. Both parties will seek opportunities for investment throughout the LNG supply chain and securing the supply of LNG.
Reuters also reports that PTT has considered the possibility of purchasing LNG from the spot market, and may postpone its plans to purchase LNG on long-term arrangements because of cheaper spot supplies’ availability.
