King & Spalding has announced that David Lang has joined the firm as a partner with the Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group in the Houston office. Lang previously served as global head of Baker McKenzie’s LNG practice in Houston.
Lang’s practice focuses on energy infrastructure development, acquisition and disposition, with particular expertise in LNG projects. He has extensive experience working with both domestic and international clients developing, acquiring and selling energy and petrochemical infrastructure assets.
“David’s expertise fits squarely within our growth strategy and our client needs– he is an excellent corporate lawyer with specific expertise in LNG matters,” said Todd Holleman, head of the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group. “There is great buzz about David in the market, so we are excited to add him to our team.”
