According to the latest Reuters reports, Russia’s Sakhalin Energy is confident that its LNG exports will not be affected by the current disruption at its Sakhalin-2 project.
Production at one of the two Sakhlain-2 LNG production lines has currently been halted due to an issue with a compressor. The company has said it will resume activities in the next few days.
A company spokesperson has stated that that the issue was not expected to have a serious impact on exports as some volumes could be replaced from storage, although the loading of various cargoes could be delayed.
