BC Ferries has announced that the Salish Raven – the company’s latest LNG dual-fuel vessel – has successfully transited the Panama Canal and is en route to British Columbia (B.C.), Canada.

The vessel departed Gdansk, Poland, on 28 April, and is reportedly expected to arrive by early June 2017.

BC Ferries claims that it will take final acceptance and ownership of the vessel upon final inspection once it arrives in B.C. Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. is responsible for delivering the vessel to B.C., and has contracted with a professional international ship delivery specialist.
