HSHI places LNG carrier tank order with GTT

GTT has received an order from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) for the tank design of a LNG carrier on behalf of the Japanese ship-owner Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).

GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system has been selected for the LNG carrier, offering a capacity of 174 000 m3. The vessel’s delivery is scheduled for the end of 2022.

Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT declared: “We are very pleased to continue our partnership of excellence with Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries for the benefit of NYK.”
