EDF Trading and Angola LNG enter flexible LNG sales agreement

EDF Trading has released a statement claiming that it has entered into a flexible sales arrangement with Angola LNG Ltd (ALNG) for the delivery of LNG cargoes from the ALNG plant in Soyo, Angola. The cargoes will be delivered on an ex-ship basis, and the sales arrangement will cover multiple cargo deliveries from 2016 to 2018.
Artur Pereira, the CEO, Angola LNG Marketing, said: “This marks an important milestone for Angola LNG as it re-enters the market. We look forward to working with EDF Trading.”
John Rittenhouse, the Chief Executive of EDF Trading, added: “We are looking forward to developing our relationship with Angola LNG.
“Through this agreement, we will be working closely with Angola LNG to optimise the LNG through the European wholesale market.”
