China's July LNG imports rise to a six-month high

Reuters are reporting that China's July LNG imports nearly doubled from a year ago to 3.12 million t, the highest volume since January.

For the first seven months of the year, LNG imports rose 45% from the same period a year ago to 19 million t.

Robust imports came as China expects natural gas consumption to rise by over 10% to 230 billion m3 this year.
