RasGas wins Excellence in Sustainability award

RasGas has received the award for Excellence in Sustainability Management at the Ministry of Energy and Industry’s 2013 Report On Sustainability In The Qatar Energy And Industry Sector ceremony.

The award, presented by H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy and Industry, recognises RasGas’ rigorous and mature approach and a strong grasp of sustainability governance and clear definitions the company makes of all management aspects.

In 2009, RasGas became the first Qatari energy company to issue a sustainability report. Since then, RasGas has received two consecutive awards from Qatar Petroleum for excellence in Sustainability Reporting for Large Scale Organisations.
